Ancient Osage
Edition Run: 25 Prints
The Osage Orange tree is one of my favorites to look at where I go trail running. Once used to make hedges before the invention of barbed wire, this tree, when trimmed will create a very tough border to stop animals from moving through. This grove here is just outside a set of ruins in the Fair Hill area. These trees, left untrimmed have grown to be a rather impressive looking grouping.
